Usage for 1-Hexanol
It is often used in fragrance bases and in preparing essential oils (such as geranium oil) as part of the first fragrance. It can also be used in trace amounts in violet, osmanthus, magnolia, and ylang-ylang-type flavors to modify or increase the green and tender aroma. It can also be used in trace amounts for food. Coconut formula, berries and various fruity flavors.
