Usage for Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether
1. It can be used as various solvents. It is also used as a solvent for paints, dyes, inks, enamels, cutting oils, and working oils.
2. Used in paints and water-based thinned paints as coupling agents, usually mixed with other ingredients.
3. Used as a solvent and coupling agent in household and industrial cleaners for cleaning grease and paint, metal, and hard surfaces.
4. Dipropylene glycol methyl e ther is also used as a stabilizer for agricultural pesticides, a coagulant for floor brighteners, and a coupling agent and skin care agent in cosmetics and skin care products.
5. It can also be used as a solvent for vat dye fabrics and as a raw material in organic synthesis.
